Thanks to all of noun Muslims friends of mine
Moving from Saudi Arabia to USA was a big challenging. Especially
for a traditional girl who has a strong observation of her culture and religion.
Especially for a girl who does not has support from her family like other girls
in Saudi Arabia. The fact that even people in Saudi Arabia even my family
usually do not like to involve with people who observe their culture and Hijab (the
head scar ) expanded the circle of challenging.
When I arrived to USA, feeling of fear conquered my heart. It was not
easy in Saudi Arabia how it was going to be easy in USA. But the surprise came
with all smiles and greeting that I received from people in USA, in the street,
in the market and everywhere. When I received the first smile, I looked around
me to check if there was anyone else. In
addition to that, it was not hard to make friends. In fact they began greeting me and exchange
talk with me. They respect me as a traditional girl. They respect my belief.
They were more than friends. They were a
family. After that, whenever I have a
new class, I do a quick look to see is there any one from them especially South
America. They are very nice people. I have not got classmates from North America.
But I am sure they will be also nice. Sometimes we make a prediction to what is
going to happen and may be we are going to act according to that prediction or
even sometimes we prevent ourselves from change just because of that falls
prediction. The truth can be different and can be beautiful. Thanks
to all of noun Muslims friends of mine. :)
